Well, I'm 21 and a typical cancerian... I was born and raised in Belgium, where the rest of my family still lives. I have one gorgeous sister Anke who's my two years younger twin sister (in looks, cause our personalities differ like cat/mouse) I came to the UK to study Musical Theatre at Laine Theatre Arts in Epsom, where I graduated in 1999 with a HONS Musical Theatre Diploma and a HONS ALAM solo acting Certificate! Since leaving I've done two No.1 UK tours for Bill Kenwright Limited "Thank You For The Music", a 70's Tribute show and "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat", Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice's first collaboration. Whilst in Belgium I was in a group called "The Bubbles" -don't ask- a bit of an S Club 7 precessor for Belgian Commercial Television. We did a lot of radio and television appearances and even had a few hit singles in Belgium. We also represented Belgium in the 1990 Dany Kaye Awards for Unicef (a type of songcontest for kids all over the world) After all this excitement I landed the part of narrator in the Belgian cult musical "Glory Hallelujah 2000", with which we had a Christmas Special on National Television.
My great passion was, is and always will be live theatre! There is nothing as moving, funny and exciting as a good Musical or play. I can be a bit of a geek when it comes down to talking about Musical Theatre and pop music. Cinema is a close third. And I'm always up for a good holiday to an exotic location (palm trees...sun...sea...cocktails!!!) or a good game of tennis, although no one ever wants to play me! (can't see why, I never loose on purpose... it's just that I always let the other player win!) |
