We're used to
Why should we give up our charm
We refuse to
If the fire gets too hot
We put the lid upon the pot
you can be sure we have ways to extinguish

We have to prepare ev'ry move
Well, what can I say: We're English
We're used to living normal lives
We're used to staying prim and proper
Used to setting an example
For those who polish all our copper
We're used to literary talks
We're used to critisizing play
And when you speak to us in French
We're used to turning away
JUST A GIRL IN LOVE
Does he see a girl whose love will always warm him
Does he know I love him more than life itself
Does he know without him my whole world will stop turning
Does he know I'm just a girl in love
I've got a pounding heart
That never will stop beating
And the whole world seems
As if it isn't there
Does he see a girl for whom this part is written
Does he know that he is my leading man
Does he know the wonder of the feelings I've been learning
Does he know I'm just a girl in love
NO ONE
It's not my plan to share this tragedy
With all those that visit being friend or enemy
They'll know all the things with which I've been dealing
This thing that portrays me's not very appealing
It's not my fault that the girl has stopped living
Although it was me who stole the love she was giving
